Question Roulette

Question Roulette – An Article Written In The Middle Of The Night

Three years ago I bought a book in Tampa which is meant to be a great for creative like minds and for the past three years I have made it my New Years Resolution to complete it. The book is called 642 Things To Write About by The San Francisco Writers Grotto. I never got round to writing many of them so what’s a better way then getting through them then writing a few as an article each week! Enjoy.

566. Only ten people will fit in the life raft. Convince the captain that you should be one of them.

Hello Mr Captain I think I should be one because I can help with the rowing and there is only five of us so it would be mean if you left me behind.

567. Recall a recent dialogue between you and a friend

‘Did you have a nice holiday?’
‘Yes, it was great, got to really enjoy the sun and relax’
‘Shall we meet up next week? It has been a while.’
‘ Yes, it has been so long what date shall we pick to meet?’

568. Sitting in a single location for 20 minutes, take notes focussing exclusively on the sounds that you can hear.

It’s the middle of the night and a neighbour has decided to play their music loud – it is a constant irritating beat over and over again – repetitive and really annoying, The cars fly by outside as well – ever so often there is a peak of silence – then it is filled again by an annoying beat.
