You are visiting Gibraltar and you want a way to get to the top of the rock – well if you want a true experience and don’t suffer from vertigo then you need to use the cable car.
The cable car is located on Reel Sands Road and is open daily from 9:15am and closes at 7:15pm. The car had two stops, however, the middle stop is only open between the months of November to March. It runs throughout the day every 10-15 minutes.

The main reason to take the cable car is the views there is nothing better then seeing the coast slowly appear as you get higher and higher. The top station is located 412m above sea level the best part is the cable car only takes 6 minutes to get to the top which means you will have a lot of time to enjoy the view.
To use the cable car it comes with a price – £16 for adults, £7 for children and £14.50 for senior citizens. It may sound pricey but it’s the quickest way to the top.
