Off The Record – ALBUM FOCUS – Hurts 2B Human, P!nk

Have you ever wanted To listen to a new band or musician and not sure where to start? Well, instead of listening to their commercial music, why not start with something off the album first!  Today we look at the brand new album from one of the most talented and creative women in pop – Hurts 2B Human, P!nk

(Here why) Miss You Sometimes

This song has an electric pop sound about it with an acoustic guitar vibe intertwined in the bridges. It is a catchy little song with a great set of lyrics. Just like a lot of pinks music you can here the emotion throughout which heightens the listening experience

90 Days (feat Wrabel)

This song has a very unusual sound, firstly it is very electronic and secondly its very vocal based. It is again a song with a lot of emotion but I am not sure if you will enjoy if you like generic pop as this is very different. It is a new sound for Pink and whilst it’s not really for me it suits her vocal range and you should listen to it for that reason alone.

Hurts 2B Human (feat Khalid)

This song is again a slower one on the album but even though it has an interesting message that could be undertones of sadness it actually is a very uplifting song. The drums and the string instruments throughout really make this song what it is and emphasise the emotion in the song.

The Last Song Of Your Life

This is the last song on the album and it is slow and feels acoustic. It is a love style song with some meaningful lyrics and is a nice way to end this album. It is a song that even if you do not get a chance to listen to the whole album, you should listen to this!
