Question Roulette

Question Roulette -Knock Knock, A Dog’s Life and Tranquil Place’s

Three years ago I bought a book in Tampa which is meant to be a great for creative like minds and for the past three years I have made it my New Years Resolution to complete it. The book is called 642 Things To Write About by The San Francisco Writers Grotto. I never got round to writing many of them so what’s a better way then getting through them then writing a few as an article each week! Enjoy..

524.  Write a ‘knock knock’ joke. Then use it in a story.
‘knock knock’
‘who’s there?’
‘Ben.’
‘Ben Who?’
‘Ben Dover’
‘He lives next door’
I get this all the time – Amazon parcels for Mr Dover, time and time again. I tell them that he lives at 243 but they always come to my door. I feel like I should write a note and put on my door.
525. Summarise your dogs life in fewer then four paragraphs
A dogs life is chilled and also excitable – one minute he is jumping around everywhere because he wants to go for walks and then he is crashed out on the floor exhausted and wanting to sleep. He loves his food and always wants a hug.
526. Sit for 15 minutes in a tranquil place – write down what you notice
There are butterflies fluttering ever so often, if you listen carefully you can hear the bees buzzing as they go and get the pollen from the flowers. There is a light breeze and you can hear it rustle the stems of the flowers and the grass. You can hear the tweeting of the birds.
527. Complete the following sentence  and then keep writing: ‘My first…’
My first memory of playing the keyboard dates back to being a little kid and just listening to the melodies and pressing the odd keys here and there.
