In Boston there is an aquarium that if you have the time you should go and visit. The New England Aquarium is located in Central Wharf which is along Atlantic Avenue on the waterfront.
The Aquarium is home to approximately 20,000 animals and 600 different species. They have a number of different mission statements that are all about protecting the blue planet. Their current aims include protecting the coasts of America, supporting woman and girls in science and helping to reduce the use of single use plastic.
The aquarium is $31 for adults and $22 for children between the ages of 3-11. The aquarium is home to many animals including lion fish, leafy sea dragons, sea turtles, penguins, sharks and much more.
It is a fun day out and being right on the waterfront you could maybe even go whale watching in the same day – however these are not ran by the aquarium .
