This month we have the privilege and honour to be going behind the scenes of the Improv Treehouse Podcast. The show is ran by Emily Brady and is a fortnightly podcast that interviews some of the best improv troupes around the UK. This month I sit down with Emily to talk all thing podcasts and improv.
In sadly what will be our last part of the interview I decided to ask Emily a few quick fire questions.
Quick Fire Round
What is the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?
I am the least adventurous eater in the world and have a very bland palate. Possibly goat in a pie in Greece.
If you could trade lives with anyone for a day who would it be and why?
I would trade lives with Paul McCartney, and then go and visit my dad who is a massive Beatles fan.
If you could paint anything what would you paint?
A portrait of my family in fancy hats.
What is the most delightful word you can think of?
Symbolism! I love saying it! Symbolism.
Favourite song?
Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls. The kind of angst I strive for.
Who is your comedy hero and why?
Cariad Lloyd. She’s always using her position to lift others up.
What is your favourite movie quote?
“You’re gonna need a bigger boat.” – Because it was improvised!
Who is your favourite cartoon character and why
Lisa Simpson from when The Simpsons was still good – she was a bookworm and intelligent and I loved her.
