The Games That Time Forgot – Starshot: Space Circus Fever, Nintendo 64

Today we look at game that was released on the Nintendo 64 in 1998. Starshot: Space Circus Fever was both developed and published by Infogrames. The game was a platform game that was single player and was based around the hero of starshot who is a star juggler for the space circus.The game was released in Europe six months before is was released in the USA.

The narrative is based around the circus being destroyed by a rocket and Starshot and willfall go out to explore who destroyed the circus. The evil villain is a rival circus called Virtua Circus.

The game was 3D and just like any other platform game you have the ability to run, walk, jump and fight off enemies along the way. The game has over 300 characters of different planets just waiting to be found.

The game was welcomed with a lot of mixed reviews and people complained about the fact that the game is boring with a lack of imagination and humour. People had problem with the amount of text that there is to read. People also had issues with the camera frame rate and the usability of the controls.
