Question Roulette – Secrets and Big Arguments

Three years ago I bought a book in Tampa which is meant to be a great for creative like minds and for the past three years I have made it my New Years Resolution to complete it. The book is called 642 Things To Write About by The San Francisco Writers Grotto. I never got round to writing many of them so what’s a better way then getting through them then writing a few as an article each week! Enjoy

446. I can’t go into this right now, but if I could. I’d tell you this…
I  have a huge secret but I cannot tell you about it because it is about someone that we know….
 447. Re-create your earliest childhood memory
I remember being at nursery, get me a climbing frame and I will recreate climbing on it
448. Write a scene where a couple get into the biggest argument of their marriage – in a small fishing boat, on their favourite lake at dawn. The motor broke and they are far out.
Jilly is angry and wants to get away from Geoff. They have never argued like this before but then again, he had never done anything like this before… well as far as she knew.
An Affair…..an Affair?!!! When was he going to tell her and why did he choose to do it on their fifth anniversary weekend! The boat breaking down was really the cherry on the top and was not helping either. He was furious at the boat and she was furious at the boat.
10 minutes passed and she realised she had enough, she can get a new phone so getting her current one wet wasn’t a big deal at this time. She had the car keys in her pocket and the bank didn’t look to far away and the anger was like an adrenaline. She decided to risk it and jump off the boat and swim for it. It was cold and she didn’t care, her husband was shouting at her with concerned. Long story short she made it and they divorced.
