It is December 25th meaning it is that time of year,
Where most people are celebrating with a festive cheer,
Lots of families and friends having fun,
Opening presents and having a laugh until the day is done.

Eating lots and lots of food galore,
Turkey, brussel sprouts, even a cake from next door,
Cranberry sauce, stuffing, blankets with pigs,
Christmas pudding maybe with some festive figs.

Opening presents, drinking port and maybe even wine,
Watching the Queens speech as everyone sits in a line.
The twinkling of the lights from the Christmas tree,
Everyone having fun what a lovely thing to see!
