Forgotten Pop! – This Week – The Three Amigos

Today we look at a band that had success at the end of the nineties with a cover song – welcome to the world of The Three Amigos. The Three Amigos was made up of Dylan Amlot, Milroy Nadarajah, Josh Powell and Marc Williams.

They released their first single in 1999 which was a cover of a song by Richard Berry that was originally a Rhythm and Blues song. The Three Amigos were one of the first bands to ever cover the song and it reached number 15 in the UK.

That was their biggest single but they also had two more that made it into the charts – ‘The Three Amigos Ride Again’ and ’25 Miles 2001.’ The band are not around anymore as they broke up so lets have a look at some of their music today.
