Let’s Talk About… If I Could Turn Back Time

This month we are talking about a different topic every day to sort of bring you variety and to maybe even start a discussion at the end of each article. All the topics have been researched and been taken off of other 30 day challenges

lets talk

It sounds like a Cher song doesn’t it – with a big ballad on a boat with big hair, but we are sadly not here to discuss Cher and that video or that song, instead we are going to talk about the age old question – what would you do if you could turn back time?

I was inspired by Bridget Jones from a very young age and wrote down everyday at school from the ages of 12 – 17 so have my teens very well documented. Looking back over my whole life there is not a lot that I regret – I have always tried to live life to the full and always tried to jump at every opportunity.

I suppose I wish I had more confidence with guys earlier in life but you know what I don’t really regret that either because I have always had lots of guy mates in my life and if I had had more boyfriends that would not of happened. Also I suppose I wish I discovered improv earlier.

I do wish that I spent more time playing instruments – i mean I spend a lot of time playing but I mean really playing them and maybe being in a band.

I don’t think it is good to look back and wish you did something happened differently to what happened. Things happen for a reason, there is a reason why you are not in a relationship with that person anymore, there is a reason why you don’t have that job, there is a reason why you didn’t go to that concert. I think it is much better to look forward and become excited about the future.
