Let’s Talk About… Earliest Memory

This month we are talking about a different topic every day to sort of bring you variety and to maybe even start a discussion at the end of each article. All the topics have been researched and been taken off of other 30 day challenges.

lets talk

This is always a fun topic to talk about as there is so many memories i remember from childhood that I think could be considered as ‘early memories’. One thing that stands out as a stong memory for me is my love of music from a very young age. I remember singing the Chipmunks song when I got given a voice recorder, I also have that on tape somwhere. I remember learning to play the keyboard from a very early age as well. One thing I really enjoyed in my first junior school was playing the bells – we used to be taught how to play them and I loved it.

A lot of my school years from the age 12 plus I remember vividly because it was around the time I first read Bridget Jones and became obssessed with diary writing and wrote about every single day I was at school until the age of 17.
i also have a lot of random memories from being a child – i remember the room of Reception class and playing with the sand, I have a few distant memories or climbing on the climbing frame at nursery, I remember going to someones birthday in someones house that was an upside down style with a big garden, I remember watching the Jungle Book when I was very young banging the foot stall as a drum. It may not be a lot but every memory is always a good one.
