Have you ever wanted To listen to a new band or musician and not sure where to start? Well, instead of listening to their commercial music, why not start with something off the album first!  Today we look at a band that has a lot of success with this album and really was around the time they were at the height of their fame the first time round – Fall Out Boy and their album Infinity On High

Thriller

This is a great opening song for an album and it’s got a great heavy guitar riff throughout. Also you have Jay Z rapping on the intro – what more would you want?

The Take Over, The Breaks Over

This song is great – the one thing that will really stand out from the start is the addictive guitar riff. This album was released around their original height of fame and it is evident to see why. The piano that eventually intertwines throughout is delightful, the lyrics are fantastic and it has a great all rounded feel to it.

Dont You Know Who I Think I Am?

This is a really good feel good album track, it has enough power to make it stand out but not enough for it to of been a single. It has a catchy set of lyrics, a fun musical melody and a nice little chorus.

The (After) Life Of The Party

You know those songs that have such a good tune that if you dosed off in the summer sun and were woken by it you would be happy? Well this is one of those songs. I tend to judge songs in this sometimes, if I fall asleep listening to music and I hear a song that makes me smile when I wake up then I know it is a good song. It may sound like a weird theory but it really works and this is a song that has so much goodness it’s hard not to smile.

Bang The Doldrum

The one thing that is great about this song is the guitar fingering throughout in between the chorus and the verses it makes it very different to other tracks on the record. The chorus is a big blasted melody with Catchy lyrics that you will find yourself singing along to.
