Do you remember this name? If you were a fan of the band O-Town then this will be a name that is familiar to you. Well after he left O-Town he went onto pursue a solo career.

O-Town were dropped from their label in 2003 and in 2004 he was signed to the record label Blackground / Universal Records. The band O-Town formed through a reality television show, so it is only right that Ashley’s journey to a solo career is documented in another reality show called There and Back for MTV. The show focussed on him trying to transition from a pop teen star to a serious musician.

In 2006 he released his debut solo album called ‘Soundtrack To Your Life.’ It went straight into the charts at number 5 and received many positive reviews from critics. The album sold nearly 150,000 copies in the USA, there were rumours that he was going to re-release the album but he never did.

His first single off the album was called ‘Let U Go’ and spent number 1 for weeks on the MTVs TRL and it was also was the third highest selling debut single from an artist in 2006. The single however, debuted in the Billboard chart at number 17 and eventually peaked at number 12. He also went on tour with Ashlee Simpson the same year as well.

It was the only solo album that Ashley had, however has not released any more music as a solo artist however has ventured into other areas and ventures both in music, theatre and television. So lets have a look at his solo music today.
