51Oip3wod3L._SX331_BO1,204,203,200_If you are a fan of the podcast Anna Faris Unqualified then you are going to like this book. If you haven’t heard about this book but have ever paid an interest in the Hollywood ‘ex-power couple’ Anna and Chris Pratt read this book, if you want a book that is actually really interesting read this book.

Whilst this book is sort of like an autobiography, it is a  book you can read without interest in Anna Faris as it has some really good advice about relationships, life and family. However if you don’t have an interest in Anna that’s shame because she is one of the most interesting people in Hollywood. If you don’t know Anna (where have you been!???) Then let me just spend a little time explaining who Anna is apart from just being the ex wife of Chris Pratt because she is so much more then that.

Anna Faris rose to fame in the comedy films Scary Movie, The Hot Chick and The House Bunny. She has also had iconic television roles as well such as the iconic one as the surrogate mother for Chandler and Monica in F.R.I.E.N.D.S as well as the role of Christy in the sitcom Mom.

This is a great book, right from the start it is a really easy read, you go into the book automatically with open arms and expecting the best from Anna because the forward from Chris Pratt is open, honest and nothing but lovely words about the actress. This is a book where she doesn’t hide behind anything instead she is honest, really honest about everything and that is what makes it such a charming delight.

It is not just a book about the actress, she has a lot of chapters which are sections in which she relates to the podcast that she does and puts herself in the hotseat of questions that she asks guests – a lot of them are really out there and put the guests in situations where they have to be brutally honest which is what she does as well. There are also chapters where she has approached social media and asked her followers a question about a topic she is writing about to get others advice as well so that there are different approaches to the chosen subject.

I went into this book originally not really expecting a lot, it was just a book i had on my Goodreads reading list and it was reduced on Kindle that i ended up giving it a go and I am glad I did. Whilst I only like a couple of the films that Anna has done that does not mean that I dislike her. Instead, i walked away from this book with huge respect for Anna as just like females as Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Mindy Kaling, she is another tough as nails woman in the world of Hollywood and it is refreshing to see.
