TACO BELL WAFFLE TACO – BACON
Sometimes in the morning you want something for breakfast that is easy to hold, full of everything you expect from an American Breakfast and there was a time when Taco Bell could satisfy that need and that product was the Waffle Taco.
Back in 2014, Taco Bell decided to release a breakfast menu to start fighting against competitors such as McDonalds for the top spot for the best fast food breakfast. The idea of the Waffle Taco was to compete against the McMuffin.
The breakfast menu that Taco Bell had on offer had a range of different items such as bacon or sausage waffle taco, breakfast tacos, burritos and a product called the AM Crunchwrap.
The breakfast menu was available in more then 5,500 participating restaurants across America. It is still doing very well across the States and they are still rolling out new ideas and concepts even now. In April of this year it was announced that they are now rolling out and trying a new breakfast item of French Toast Chalupa which consists of ‘fluffy cinammon-flavaoured shell filled with scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage crumbles with a side of syrup’ (which we hope John tries very soon!)
In the meantime, just how nice IS the Waffle Taco Bacon breakfast item?? Over to you John!
