Three years ago i bought a book in Tampa which is meant to be a great for creative like minds and for the past three years I have made it my New Years Resolution to complete it. The book is called 642 Things To Write About by The San Francisco Writers Grotto. I never got round to writing many of them so what’s a better way then getting through them then writing a few as an article each week! Enjoy!
281. Think of an episode from your life that you don’t dare write. Write it.
I don’t like failing and hate failing exams there was one I failed as it was not my strongest subject, so the next year I wrote an essay on the same topic and got and incredibly high mark in the topic proving to myself it was just an off day.
282. Keep a list of words you like, for their sound, for their meaning, or just for their goofy spelling. Pick one of those words and use it in a paragraph.
I like the word Onomatopoeia because it is a fun word to say and I really like it’s meaning. It is a word used for lots of noises like sound effects – so it brings BANG! BOOM! and SMASH! with it as well.
283. A dream you boss had
Is of stress and panic
284. A family (not your own) on the street where you grew up
Had a dog, had a young child, owned a motorbike and a car, didn’t do a lot of gardening, friendly.
285. The way you mistreated a friend
There are two sides to every story.
286. A letter to the Editor
Dear Editor, thanks for awesome articles that you write, you inspire me,
