The Bureau – Hesitant Alien

Really good opening to an album – it is catchy, has undertones of his previous band, My Chemical Romance and sort of sets up the narrative for the rest of the album. The thing that makes this track catchy and unique is the fact that a telephone dial is used as a melodic rhythm and it works really really well.

Brother – Hesitant Alien Album

The thing that makes this a great album track is the use of piano throughout the song. Whilst the drums eventually take over the role of the beat, initially it is lead by the piano and it makes all the different. It is a jolly little song with lovely lyrics to go along with it.

Zero Zero – Hesitant Alien album

The one thing that is great about this song is that at times the singing contradicts the beat and it creates a unique and snazzy track. The drums are also something that are great in this album track – they are dirty and they make a raw and fun undertone whilst also bringing a sense of drama.

Maya The Psychic- Hesitant Alien Album

If you didn’t get the deluxe version, then this is the last song on the album and it is also one of the best. It has a really good chorus, a great beat and is really catchy. It is also a great ending to a very fun album.
