COTTON CANDY OREOS

Screen Shot 2018-03-22 at 12.16.32It wouldn’t be Taste of States if we didn’t delve into the world of Oreos ever so often as America has so many flavours on sale throughout the years it is only right that we look into it and Johns past reviews! Today we look at an Oreo flavour that you would not necessary associate with each other but they made them a combination in 2015 – Oreo Cotton Candy Flavour.

The Cotton Candy Oreos were available for $3 a bag, and were an exclusive to the shop Target as a limited edition. The biscuit was the vanilla flavoured cookie and was filled with a cream that was half light blue and the other half light pink. The centre was mean to be where the main cotton candly flavour would come from and a lot of people praised it for tasting exactly like Cotton Candy.

The reviews online say that the Cotton Candy Oreos don’t just taste exactly like the sweet fairground treat but also makes you feel like you have eaten too much of it only after a few. Other criticised the Oreos for being too sweet, but hey, isn’t that the whole point of Cotton Candy in the first place?

So, was it a nice snack or was it too sweet? Over to you John.
