JOLLY GOOD SODA
Today we look at a drink that had a revival back to the American market a few years ago, this isn’t just any sort of soda, this is Jolly Good Soda! The drink dates back to the nineties and was revived in 2016 and the product is a Wisconsin product from Krier Foods.
According to an article from around the revival, that Krier Foods partnered up with the store Piggly Wiggly to get the soda back on the markets. It was reported at the time that it would be available in 100 of their Wisconsin stores. Back in the nineties, Jolly Good was available in 50 flavours!
Whilst they haven’t been able to bring every single flavour back so far, they have brought back the flavours Fruit Punch, Cherry, Sour Pow’r, Grape, Orange, Cream Soda and they have even been able to introduce Diet versions as well.
Since they came back on the market, the drink is now available in more venders as well as Piggly Wiggly including Trigs, Sendiks Food Market and Wodmans Markets. Do the drinks taste any good and as good as the original? Only one way to find out – over to you John!
