The Travel Book – Bahama Breeze Restaurant, United States of America

It’s not usual for us to talk about a restaurant that’s a chain but sometimes when your on holiday you want to know about the good ones so you know where you should visit if you happen to come by one. I visited Bahama Breeze back in 2013 and the food that I had at the restaurant was so tasty I felt it was only right to talk about it in an article.

Bahama Breeze is a restaurant that is located In a few states in America – when I looked a few years ago there was only three of them and now there are more and they have increased in the amount of restaurants they have available.

Bahama Breeze is a restaurant that serves Caribbean cuisine ranging from Jerk Chicken, curried goat and Jamaican Pork. It is also a tad Americanised and also serves a range of other food such as burgers, steaks, mac and cheese and tacos. Don’t let this put you off though as the food is a reasonable price and can be quite tasty.

As well as having a vast menu, they also have a cocktail menu as well that ranges in a variety of drinks including Dark N Stormy, Zombie and Yaka Hula Hickey Dula. They also do a range of frozen cocktails including the Ultimate Pina Colada and Strawberry Daiquiri. Of course it would not be a good Caribbean restaurant if it didn’t have rum and this place has lots of varieties!

Now, I went to Bahama Breeze a few years ago and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the food was – we tried the jerk chicken which was a lovely flavoured spice delight. The one thing on the menu  had which pleasantly blew me away was the Calypso Shrimp Linguine – i never really have fish with pasta but decided this day to give it a try and it blew me away – the flavour was so good and so balanced that it as very delicious.
