This week, Hoopla have a great set of shows on at The Miller Pub that you may want to head on down to as there is something for everyone! Here is a round up of the shows on this week!

Hoopla Improv Jam with Catherine Haslam

About: We are kicking off Wednesday night with a short form improv jam hosted by Catherine Haslam!!!  Come and play on stage at Hoopla Impro for a fun free-for-all jam. Your host Catherine has been improvising since 2012, when she joined the improv group, Blind Mirth. Since arriving to London in 2015, she has been a member of Glitch – The Improvised Puppet Show, a member of Running-A-Mock, and has co-created the improvised web series, ‘Teachurs.’ She can also be found waiting to jump in for a jam at Hoopla, and hopes you jump in, too.

No experience required. We want to give people a platform to try their hand at improv for the 1st time or the 1,000th time.

Hoopla: Mawaan Rizwan, Dreamweaver Quartet & Bareback Kings.

Fresh off tour supporting Simon Amstell, Mawaan Rizwan is back with a work-in-progress show. From sexuality to daddy issues to Missy Elliot. It’s all covered. Mawaan’s YouTube videos have over 18 million views. He stars in ITV series Next of Kin and BAFTA-winning Murdered By My Father.


Dreamweaver Quartet invites you to close your eyes and open up your third eye. The room is dark, the incense is burning, the potion they gave you is taking you into a deep state of relaxation. Now tell us of your strangest dreams and they shall make them manifest through music, dance and storytelling.

Hoopla present Grand Theft Impro & Criminal

Improvised comedy with one of the UK’s longest-running improv groups. Join Grand Theft Impro as they bring together some of their swornest enemies to improvise with them.

Featuring veteran improvisers Charlotte Gittins, Phil Whelans, and Dylan Emery.



Join a lineup of wonderful comedy talents as they solve a murder in front of your eyes.

Tonight the hideous crime that needs solving is the murder of Trevor Blund. Asking “Who killed dear Trevor?”, our detective must wade into the murky swimming pool of intrigue and use his toes to pick up the goggles of clarity.
