Off The Record – Good Charlotte

Have you ever wanted To listen to a new band or musician and not sure where to start? Well, instead of listening to their commercial music, why not start with something off the record first! This week we talk about a band that is made up of twins that have been really successful both in the music industry and entertainment industry and also are married to two of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. Today we talk about the music of – Good Charlotte

Waldorf Worldwide – Good Charlotte album

This song is very catchy and a jolly little tune that oozes of punk rock style songs such as Big Reel Fish. It is really catchy with fun lyrics and a great little drum beat and bass. If you want a true feel of early Good Charlotte then this is a very strong example.

I Don’t Wanna Stop – Good Charlotte album

This song is another song that really highlights the vibes of the original Good Charlotte – even though the lyrics can be considered as dark it is really catchy and one of those songs that you will have stuck in your head for days to come. The chorus has a really catchy doobie doobie doo which always helps as well.

My Bloody Valentine – Young and the Hopeless album

This album is much darker and more rock and roll then the first album. The songs lyrics on this album track are pretty dark but if you listen to the whole off this album you will realise that it goes perfectly with the rest of the album. The guitar riffs are heavy but not so heavy that there is a sort of element of fun with them.

The Day That I Die – Young and Hopeless album

Again, a track with a really dark title, but in true GC tradition it is quiet a jolly song anf is really highly addictive and makes you want to listen to it over and over again and also sing along to the chorus whilst tapping a foot.

Ghost of You – Chronicles of Life and Death album

This song is one of the slower tracks on the album and it is also one of the best. The drum beat throughout is very addictive. The lyrics are very lovely and it altogether is a very nice balanced song with a hint of darkness.

The World is Black – Chronicles of Life and Death

Another song with dark lyrics but a really jolly melody, the song is one of the most fun on the album as well as being contrasted as also being one of the most darkest. The lyrics are serious but the jolly little melody makes it uplifting.

Break Her Heart Apart – Good Morning Revival album

This song is a great album track and is catchy as anything else that the band do – just like the song above it has a powerful chorus and the use of guitar strums really make this a stand out track.
