Today we look at a food from the archive that is a breakfast food that collaborated with another popular food – cereal and peanut butter.

Kellogg’s released a JIF Peanut butter flavoured cereal that was made up of small grain squares that was made of whole grain and rice. One of the things the product prided itself on was the fact that it had 11 vitamins and minerals.

The idea of the cereal was not just to have it as a breakfast food but to also have it there as a snack product as well. It was released around the time when Kellogg’s was expanding their range and released 34 items onto the market shelves.

Online in various websites the cereal has received good reviews with some saying it has a great taste and is high in protein and others saying it’s their favourite cereal – but is it really that good? John went out and tried it and gave us his result.
