This week to round up independent film month I thought I would talk to you more about what I do in my spare time when I am not writing this blog or working in television – I like to make films!

Now, unlike a lot of the films that you have seen focussed on here I do this as a hobby and so don’t really look for people to sponsor my work as I do it for fun. I have in the past used cameras etc in a professional environment, however, when I do content and projects away from television the actual quality to me isn’t my focus – my main focus is to have fun!

I like to experiment, I like to try out new things and just basically muck around. Ever so often I get an idea for a short film and want to try it out. I know I don’t have the best camera but i prefer to do a short film and see if it works and then if so develop it great, if I don’t – it was fun while it lasted!
I suppose you could say it’s a bit like this site – I originally started writing about my interests – comedy and music and had no real direction – I only did it for fun! And then I started to enjoy it and see it’s potential and have spent a lot of time developing it and sorting out a target and aim for the site.
So this week I will take you a little bit behind the scenes and welcome you into the world of Bartolo Creations!
