For those who do not know, Dara O’Briain and Ed Byrne are very good friends, so much so that Ed was the best man for Daras wedding, so its only natural that they end up being teamed up to do a variety of travel shows together.

Dara and Eds Road to Mandalay is a BBC show that sees the duo go on a massive adventure – crossing 3500 miles across Malaysia starting in Kuala Lumpar and ending in the historic city of Mandalay. The show aired in 2017 and them on  their adventure for three episodes.

They get to embark on a variety of different adventures on their travels including going to the Fire Rocket Festival and involve a variety of home made rockets that can sometimes hold up to 45lbs of gunpowder. They also do various other activities such as going to a beauty pagent for chickens, stay in the largest hotel in the world and take the jungle train.

The show is both fun and educational at the same time and is definitely worth a watch. Here is the trailer below to just get a tiny glimpse at the big adventure they go on.
