This week we are looking into the world of the brand new short film by Lytham Film Company called Super Grannies. So to wet your appetite with the articles and fun we have to come this week, here is a little general overview about the film, the company and Neal who we sat down and got the chance to interview.

Lytham Film Company

Lytham Film Company is a Lancashire based production company dedicated to creating innovative films that radiate powerful and thought-provoking themes. The company was co-founded in 2016 by Neal Gavyn and Sophie Heppell with a shared ideology;

To create and inspire by bringing imaginary worlds to life.


Neal Gavyn an actor as well as a co-founder of Lytham Film Company has grown up with a passion for writing and follows his passion; wearing the shoes of others and bringing truth into imaginary circumstances. As an actor he is known for approaching roles with emotional intelligence, generosity and professionalism. His extensive contribution to film, not only as an actor but also as a writer and filmmaker, highlights his ambitions to reach the heights of his profession.

Super Grannies – Synopsis:

The World’s biggest secret is about to fall into the wrong hands! There is only one force of nature that can save us all from destruction… SUPER GRANNIES!

Lytham Film Company has teamed up with Fairhaven Lodge Dementia Care Home to bring the wacky world of Super Grannies, Secret Agents, Evil Ninjas and Aliens to life!

Lytham Film Company decided to assemble a diverse and creative team that promotes their ethos of creativity, inclusion and opportunity.

The team bringing this ambitious project to life in a variety of roles are;

• Residents and Staff Members of Fairhaven Lodge.

• Passionate Members of the Community.

• Aspiring Creatives.

• Experienced Artists.

This action packed comedy stars Elizabeth Wilson [Resident at Fairhaven Lodge], June Dixon [Resident at Fairhaven Lodge] and Geraldine Barnes [Management Team at Fairhaven Lodge] as the three Super Grannies that team up with MI4 to take down an Unknown Evil Organization.

Lytham Film Company hopes the film will raise positive awareness in the following areas;
