Three years ago i bought a book in Tampa which is meant to be a great for creative like minds and for the past three years I have made it my New Years Resolution to complete it. The book is called 642 Things To Write About by The San Francisco Writers Grotto. I never got round to writing many of them so what’s a better way then getting through them then writing a few as an article each week! Enjoy!
160. Finish the sentance that begins “What I’ve always wanted to say is…”
What I’ve always wanted to say is I don’t watch Game of Thrones and I have no intention to in the future.
161. What would you buy from Skymall catalog? Why?
*Googles the site*
+ Sockmaster Easy reach – silliest thing I have ever seen
+ Wood Pet Chair – For my friends cat
+ Solar Snowman Making Light Kit – to make a Jazzy Snowman
162. What does writers block feel like?
Like being trapped in a gap of a really small door and not being able to go anywhere – you are just trapped and a brick wall is hitting you on the head.
163. Find a world map or globe, close your eyes, pick a spot. Write about a person arriving there for the first time.
I open the shutter and in my indoor cabin and the first thing that hits me is the cold I have never felt this cold before. I need to go and put on more layers before looking out.
Then I look out the window and see white – nothing but white – its breathtakingly beautiful – we are in Antartica.
I have always dreamed of coming here and just seeing it in real life is insane, it doesn’t feel real, i feel pretty emotional and very cold.
