Tonight, the new long awaited BBC satirical show starts on BBC 2 called The Mash Report. The show is hosted by comedian Nish Kumar who has hosted BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack as well as having regular guest appearances on comedy panel shows such as Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week , Virtually Famous, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, QI snd Russell Howards Stand Up Central.

Wish will be joined on the show by comedians Ellie Taylor, Steve N Allen, Rachel Parris and Andrew Hunter Murray. The show has a ten episode run, which will all run for half an hour on Thursdays and will focus on mocking hard news and cultural trends.

The show has been created by the people behind the much loved parody website The Daily Mash – which many people share on social media with news stories that take the mickey out of what is happening in society.

So if you are looking for a new comedy show to watch each week then this is one that you should definitely keep an eye out for.
