Three years ago i bought a book in Tampa which is meant to be a great for creative like minds and for the past three years I have made it my New Years Resolution to complete it. The book is called 642 Things To Write About by The San Francisco Writers Grotto. I never got round to writing many of them so what’s a better way then getting through them then writing a few as an article each week! Enjoy!
118. The first time you were worried that you had come off sounding racist
I suppose maybe a joke or something
119. Think of an object that describes you. Describe it.
A guitar – musical, bubbly, like to perform in front of a crowd. When I am on my own my mind is creative, deep in thought. I am strong, unique and love to have fun.
120. Make a case for your favourite fruit.
Do you want a fruit that will send you away to a Caribbean island? Well then Mango is the fruit for you, it taste like nectar. It is sweet, juicy and so delicious.
121. Do a detailed character sketch for a fictional character about whom you would never, ever want to write. Work to avoid making up anything that would capture your own interest.
Leslie liked eating brains, not just any brains – mainly maggot infested brains. For a hot young woman scientist she was really weird. She studied these part of the human body but got more thrill about eating and sucking on brains or delayed guts.
In her normal life she was a 5’3 blonde bombshell that could catch the attention of any man. She craved and loved attention. No-one would know she was a cannibal, she loved wearing short dresses which gave her a massive bust with a slit up the side with stilletos.
If she found a man she liked a lot – so much she literally wanted to eat him – she would mark her territory by licking them up the left side of the face and drawing a cross on their back.
