The Dear Diaries …. a history trip to Belgium

The other day I came across my teenage diaries. When I was 12/13 it was around the time Bridget Jones Diary was released and I became addicted to the idea of writing a diary so that’s what I did everyday!
I remember the feeling I had when I had a great day and would come home and write what happened and all the gossip that was happening! At the time it meant a lot to have this all written down and it’s funny, even after all these years I still have the same feelings when I read certain stories and cringe a lot a others as well.
I loved school and everything o wrote down still brings back great and even cringeworthy memories!
In this feature I will be writing some of my entries – there will be some I won’t due to embarrassments to me or to others, but there will be a lot that will be written! I mean hey, 5 years of diary entries that’s a lot!!!

Last time, we finished with a snow day, a few more tiny insights into the adventures of — and a lot of bins and pen fights with BFP.
All names will be changed and some will be named using a symbol system I made back in the day.. anyway you will get the jist

Had great fun with — ,Scott and co today, such a laugh. Spoke to — ALOT today! Had to kill him in drama! Enjoyed lunch today went round mucking about with Scott and company trying to get people to kiss (no one did).

Going to Belgium with school! Onyl a few Year 9s are going. Starting to go off —

The Belgium trip was so fun! Got to school around 5:30am and we left just before 6am on coach was funny the boys read the girls magazines. The coach boarded the ferry and we got off walked upstairs to meeting point. We then explored ship, really busy but quite impressive!

Went outside took photos of friends and the guys. Travelled to Belgium with more pictures laughs and music. When got to Belgium first stop was Ypres. We looked at cathedral and Menim gate. When got back near cathedral we were allowed to go shopping. Only was chocolate shop and cafes.

Went to a chocolate shop there was a free sample when you walked in and a man telling the offer is to school trips on a mic – funny!

We went to hill 62 and Tyne Cot Cemetery. Drove to 2 other places and looked at them by coach. The went to hyper market in Calais. Had fun on the ferry back. Me and Daisy explored the ship with the guys and then went back downstairs to join Everyone. Bought Pat a drink (note – he owes me £1.20). Went looking for the playrooms but they were busy so went and all sat down on the couch and sat and talked. I had a really fun trip and realised I enjoy talking to Robert and  && first time talking to him he’s sarcastic and jokey.

More tomorrow…
