Three years ago i bought a book in Tampa which is meant to be a great for creative like minds and for the past three years I have made it my New Years Resolution to complete it. The book is called 642 Things To Write About by The San Francisco Writers Grotto. I never got round to writing many of them so what’s a better way then getting through them then writing a few as an article each week! Enjoy!
78. Write about a difficult conversation you’ve had recently. The rewrite the conversation, saying what you couldn’t say at a time.
In reality –
Just to make you aware, I don’t want to see Sally* at the moment. I know she is part of our friendship group but due to a situation I don’t really want to go into it, i just need some timeout from her.
What I am thinking –
I want you to be aware that I don’t want to see Sally* because she is a user and only wants to see me / I hear from her only when she wants something. I am sick of being used and then looking like I am the bad guy. I know by saying this that you are already judging me and I know you won’t believe me but she is a user and I am hurt by it but you can’t see it and you won’t care.

79. Write the copy for a cereal box so that someone would actually want to buy this exciting new flavour.
Cricklypops are a fantastic new and exciting cereal with full taste of summer. Made up of 100% wheat mixed with a taste explosion of chocolate chunks and strawberry marshmallows. Once you try Cricklypops your eating and tasting just won’t stop!
80. The cleaning lady
My friend Evi recently told me about how amazing her cleaning lady is and that she makes everything super clean and sparkling.
81. Waiting
I tried to watch this film because Dane Cook and Ryan Reynolds was in it – I found it very poor and didn’t last the whole film and got bored.
