TThere is a game that was ranked as one of the worst games of all time and was also one of the first games to introduce 3D platforms. I remember trying to play this game and it was so hard to control and really difficult to manoeuvre and the graphics were really bad. If you haven’t guessed it already, we are talking about the game Bubsy 3D for Playstation 1.

The idea of the game was to defeat the Woolies two Queens and escape from the planet by collecting rocket parts. The main character is Bubsy who has many skill such as jump high, glide and swim to achieve the win in every level. The game was developed by Eidetic and published by Accolade in 1996. The game was a challenge to the company who created Bubsy as they had no experience with controls or tools for drawing environments in 3D. It was originally developed for Sega 3X but due to the unsucessful release of the console in Europe, the game was delayed.

The game received appalling reviews with a lot of them saying that is one of the worst games released. A lot of them even believe it ruined the whole Bubsy franchise including the past games. Heres a video just so you can see the game play in action.
