+The series was called “The Mighty Boosh” because of a haircut Michael Fielding once had that his Spanish friend called “the mighty bush”. Noel Fielding and their friends found it amusing and used it as the title.

+ The show often uses family and friends of the actors as extras. Michael Fielding (who plays Naboo) is the brother of Noel Fielding (who plays Vince), and Fielding’s mother and nephew also play two shamans in the show.

+ Richard Ayoade was originally cast to play Dickson Banebridge in the unaired pilot however he was changed to Matt Berry. Richard Ayoade later appears as Saboo

+ The comic music theme from some scenes is similar to the music from Bjork’s song “Human Behavior”.

+ Some Scientists do believe that the Universe will end in a “Big Crunch”.
