It was announced yesterday that the comedians taking part in the up and coming fourth season of the Dave hit comedy show Taskmaster. The fourth season is set to air next year and it will be the first seasons with more then one female contestant! So lets have a look at the up and coming contestants and how we predict they will do.

Hugh Dennis

The first in the line up is a man that has made his name by being the dad in Outnumbered and appearing on panel shows such as Mock The Week. On these shows he ones across as the intelligent one but will it be enough to be the new crowned winner?

Noel Fielding

Known for his unique type of comedy, Noel Fielding will be if anything a very interesting person to watch be put to the test and see the unusual ways he approaches the tasks.

Mel Giedroyc

Straight off the back from saying farewell to soggy bottoms, Mel will be diving into the taskmasters crazy challenges. We here at the Phoenix think that she will be a very strong competitor.

Joe Lycett

One of the comedians that is really putting a strong foot forward in the comedy scene and is rising in popularity every single day. We reckon that he will be a fantastic person to watch on The Taskmaster, whilst attempting the tasks in his unique way we think he will be the underdog that rises to potentially winning the series.

Lolly Adefope

Another strong female and another oner that will be ready to fight for the crown. We reckon that Lolly will do well at the events placed in front of her.
