Forgotten Pop

Forgotten Pop! – This Week: Northern Line

Another Friday means its another day to look back at a band that has been forgotten in the comedy vault. This band was active for two years between the years of 1998 and 2000 and consisted of band members Dan Corsi, Andy Love, Ian Mason, Michael Sharpe and Lee Baldry.

The band released three singles in the United Kingdom including Run For Your Life, Love On the Northern Line and All Around the World that all reached the top 40is in the chart with number 15 being their highest entry. The boyband toured with Steps in 2000 with the Steptacular tour. Apparently Lee Baldry dropped out of the line up for the band due to disagreements within the group but he went on to be a television presenter on Bid Up TV.

There is no information as to why they broke up but a lot of these bands did because of lack of popularity and record sales so i guess this is the same reason, well enjoy the videos and music of Northern Line!
