Welcome to a new blog feature – The fringe Factor – this will take inside the world of the Edinburgh Fringe and highlight an array of the shows that are taking place at this world wide known comedy fest! We will explore some of the shows that are happening and keep you in the loop as to what you need to see! This week we will look at three different types of comedy genre – Acrobatics, A capella and walking.
Lord of Strut: Late Night TV Talk Show
About: Under this genre of comedy is the Lord of Strut (not my words, the website of Edinburgh Fringe has put these guys down as this.) It has been described as an hour of slapstick mayhem in the disguise of a talk show. Lords Of Strut are made up of two brothers Seamus and Sean and have traveled all the way from Ireland to perform at the festival. The basis of Lord of Struts is that the two idiotic brothers think they are celebrities and amazing at everything they do when in fact, it’s an absolute disaster! The brothers have always made people laugh with their with their acrobatics and are ready to wow audiences at this years fringe.
The Late Night Talk show is based around a chat show that ends up going terribly wrong with some hilarious results. It will consist of action, gags, dance routines suitable for the 80’s and audience participation.
