This week in improv it was the last one of the year so instead of learning new tricks of the trade Ian and Bev felt it was time to have some fun and play some of the improv games that they play online and it was really good fun and a great way to end the lessons for the end of the year.
There was a variation of games that we were able to get involved in including a game where you had to include dialogue that was written for you from the audience, another where the next sentence in the scene has to start with the next letter of the alphabet and another one where the same scene is played out 3 times and each with a different emotion.
Now for the fact that this is going to be my last blog on improv for a while, here is some of my favourite ‘games’ and ‘sketches’ from various improv groups
Impractical Jokers – The Debate Challenge
The Impractical Jokers have to go up against each other and get an unsuspecting member of the public to decide which joker wins the debate .
The Noise Next Door – Improv Adventures
By taking to Twitter, the boys get fans and Twitter members to send in suggestions as to what they should do in a day of Improv adventures.
Whose Line Is It Anyway?
The game where the improvisers have to use whatever props they have to create random ideas with them.
