An exciting array of comedians are performing this year at the Ealing Comedy Festival which is part of the Ealing Summer Festival. Running between the dates of Friday 17th to Friday 24th July, this year sees some exciting shows in the schedule. All the comedy shows are going to be located at Walpole Park, Mattock Lane with tickets costing £20 per person. The shows will run between 7:45pm and 10:30pm with doors opening at 6:30pm.
Friday 17th July
Opening Night will be a feast for the eyes with Julian Clary, Shappi Khorsandi and Justin Moorhouse performing with MC Mickey Hutton.
Julian Clary has been on our television screens for many years – whether he is advertising washing detergent Daz, or appearing on Celebrity Big Brother – he is a TV face that everyone recognises!
He has been doing stand up for many years originally performing to audiences under the name Leo Hurll. He is known for his ‘heavy glam’ make up and ‘outrageous’ clothes – so if your wanting a glamorous night out of comedy – this could be for you!
Saturday 18th July
The second night of the comedy festival will be full of another bunch of great comedians – Russell Kane, Milton Jones and MC Arthur Smith.
Edinburgh Festival Fringe Winner (2010), Russell Kane, is most commonly known to most people as TV presenter for shows such as Britain Unzipped, Geordie Shore The Reunion and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now. In a review from The Telegraph he is described as ‘One of a Kind, he’s the man of the people, telling it like it is.’
Wednesday 22nd July
The third night will be home to Marcus Brigstocke, Nick Helm and MC Stephen K Amos.
Satirist, Actor and Comedian Marcus Brigstocke will be performing his wit this evening. He has appeared on a vast amount of Radio and TV programmes including I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue, Have I Got News For You, QI, Argumental and Hole in the Wall.
