There is always a story behind a photograph and I thought it would be a fun way to look at the world of travel. So, welcome to the feature that will appear regularly in the travel section.

One of the best things about London is the parks – they are big, wonderful and are so different in their style. Today’s photograph was taken in Kensington Gardens.
The main feature that I adore about this photograph is the angle – I really like the way I have managed to include long grass and plants in the left corner to create depth and interest in the photo. I really like where the building is positioned as it creates a great structure to the photograph.
I really like the colour of the image and it creates the impact that it was really warm summer day – which it was. It looks like it has been highly contrasted but it hasn’t – it is just the daylight creating that. It also gives an unique glimpse of a part of Kensington Gardens that may not be photographed a lot.
