Today’s Featured Artist – INTERVIEW – Brocarde

Tell us about:

Your favourite lyric in this song:

Everything means what you want it to mean, except when it means nothing at all.

Your favourite song that you have created that is an album track:

Last Supper – because it’s both the start and an end-all wrapped in one package.

# Your favourite song to play live:

Feed My Soul, I love the storytelling elements and being about to pull something deeper out.

The song that was the longest to write and why?

Last Supper, as I was just so obsessed with bringing the vision to life. It was the first song from the album and the first time working with my producer, so it was a voyage of discovery and so much energy and passion went into it.

Your most emotional track:

Feed My Soul for me is emotional as I know the pain behind the lyrics, it’s presented with a sassy front but that’s almost a mask, as I want to empower people and show them that there’s light in dark situations.

Dream collaboration:

Most of the people I dream about working with are dead. Which works well when you can talk to ghosts.

Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:

It’s a mix of nerves and emotions, excitement, it’s like coming home, the moment when your dreams are being realized.

The hardest track to play live:

All of my songs are challenging to play live, the energy and the emotions, the genre switches, they are so demanding.

Essential items you always take on tour with you?

My camera, I document my travels across the world for Brocarde.com, so I couldn’t go to my job without it. I’m obsessed with unique places, gothic architecture and ghost stories.

Describe your fans in three words:

Eclectic – because I’m constantly surprised by the different types of people who like my music.

Amazing – because I’d be nowhere without them.

Intelligent – because they like me!! (Haha)

A song by another artist or band you wish you had written:

Bohemian Rhapsody

What we can look forward to from you in 2026

My album and I’m so excited to share that. Also showcasing more haunted locations, more adventures and more amazing stories for Brocarde.com
