Yearly Music Hitlist! – October to December 2025

All year I have decided to keep a diary of tracks that I am enjoying so that maybe you can gain new ideas of tracks to listen to or even try out. So I thought what a great way to end the year and highlight some of the tracks throughout 2025 that I have enjoyed. Here are some of my favourite tracks from January to March.

05/10/2025 – The Fate Of Ophelia, Taylor Swift

I am not a Swiftie, I wasn’t interested in the new album but I felt it had to be mentioned as it was a big deal this month. Personally I am not a fan of this song and anytime I hear it I think of Lana Del Rays Summertime Sadness but I felt since it became a viral dance trend it should be mentioned as well as being a huge hit. I haven’t heard or watched the video the whole way through but I know someone reading this will want to and enjoy it.

09/10/2025- Hippie Sunshine, Kasabian

This is a new sound for the Kasabian band and it is really addictive and makes you excited to see where the new album is going to take us. For me, it reminds me of the solo music that Sergie released just before the line up of Kasabian changed and that was really unique so I am excited to see where this goes.

12/10/2025 – NOT OK, 5 Seconds Of Summer

I am addicted to this track, it is so unique and I flipping love it. The beat in the background with the mix of talking and singing is a new direction for the band but it works so well. It makes you want to get up and dance and enjoy the experience you are listening to.

2/11/2025 – Mature, Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff returned with a really catchy new single that is easy to enjoy as the chorus has a lot of elements to it that make it a great pop song and a fun return to the pop industry. It is a song about an ex always dating women that are much younger and repeating the same routine over and over again. It is worth a listen just for that.

5/11/2025 – Feel Something Great, Palaye Royal

This is a slower pace song by the band Palaye Royal but it is a track that is really interesting to listen to as the lyrics are really dramatic. The song has some unique musical interludes which makes this song worth listening to. The chorus is powerful as it has a lot of musical riffs that reel you in.

29/11/2025 – I’ll Never Know Why, Jessie J

Jessie J released a really raw, song this month, the musician hoped that the song could support anyone who has experienced the loss of someone in anyway. The video is very simple but it has been praised for being real and raw with emotion.

1/12/2025 – Church, JADE

This song has a gradual introduction and it builds up to a interesting beat and is a really unique song as the lyrics start of talking about Queen Elizabeth II and then expands into metaphors. It is not hard to see why Jade is doing well with her solo career as her sound is very different.

8/12/2025 – Guardian, Poppy

This is a really good rock song, big riffs, bold guitars and a fantastic beat. It is a song that reminds me of Evanescence a bit because it has elements of their sound in the song. This is a song that is really good and makes you want to turn it up loud to hear it at it’s best.

12/12/2025 – Immortal Love, Mika

You can always trust Mika to have a song that is pure pop with a fun beat and an enjoyable sound. This song is a fun listen and has elements that make you think of the early noughties. It is different from previous songs but it is also a joyous listen.
