Sunshine On A Rainy Day – Zoe
Today we are heading back to the early nineties to take a look at a song that was really popular. It may have got lost in the world of Forgotten Pop and today we are going to take a look at it.
In October of m1990, musician Zoe released the song Sunshine On A Rainy Day. It was written by Zoe and Martin Glover, produced by Youth and released under the record labels of M&G and Polydor. The song was from the album Scarlet Red and Blue.
They went to extreme lengths to get the song exposure and created three different music videos for the single. The track may also sound familiar as it has been covered by Naomi Campbell, Emma Bunton, Happy Hardcore and Christine Anu.
Th original did well in the charts and went to number 1 in Luxembourg and the Zimbabwe Charts. In the United Kingdom it went to number 4 in the UK singles and number 6 in the UK dance chart.
