All this month we are celebrating the world of the Boyband and that means that every day of November we are delving into a different song by a different band! Let’s celebrate the boyband, there were many of them in the noughties and nineties when I was growing up so let’s relook at some of the great ones out there!

Track: Man Not A Boy
Artist: North & South
Original Release Date: 1997
Today’s song was such a weird nostalgia hit for me as I knew the name of this band but again just like the Northern Line I thought it was through all the promotion that was in the music magazines at the time. So, I searched their music and I heard a song that felt like it took me back to a very specific space in time. I haven’t heard this song since I think the nineties so I vaguely remembered it so it was weird.
Man Not A Boy has such a nineties feel about it and a chorus that I really remembered when I heard it. Apparently it was the theme to a children’s show called No Sweat which again, from searching it I vaguely remember it.
Such a weird hit today, I don’t know how i happened but it is bizarre remembering a band’s name but not being sure why.
