All this month we are celebrating the world of the Boyband and that means that every day of November we are delving into a different song by a different band! Let’s celebrate the boyband, there were many of them in the noughties and nineties when I was growing up so let’s relook at some of the great ones out there!

I always felt that The Wanted were always underrated – they were always in direct competition with One Direction which I don’t think helped. There were many songs I could of discussed but felt that this was the perfect choice.

Gold Forever is such an uplifting song which makes it a perfect track for the boyband list. As a video editor, I have lost track of how many times I have used this track for an edit as it sort of connotes a really uplifting song.

The chorus is just wonderful – put headphones on and listen to this song and you will want to dance around the room – it will make you feel incredibly inspired. It is so uplifting and if you have a bad day it can instantly make you feel so much better.

I feel this is a song that defies the idea I had of The Wanted – a band that just want to have fun intwined with lyrics of good times and relationships.
