Try Me Out – Corona

Today we are heading back to the mid nineties to take a look at a single that was of the genre of Eurodance and house music that you may of forgotten about.

On the 10th July 1995 the Italian Eurodance group Corona released the single Try Me Out. The track was written by Giorgio Spagna, Francesco Botempi and Annerly Gordon and produced by Checco and Soul Train. It was released under the record label of DWA (Dance World Attack).

The song could sound familiar as it samples part of the 1987 song by Teen Dream called Toy. Try Me Out was the third single from Corona’s debut album The Rhythm Of The Night which was released in 1995.

The single did well in the charts and went to the top 10 in many countries including Denmark (6), Finland (5), Italy (2), Spain (4) and the US Hot Dance (1) to name a few. In the United Kingdom the song went to number 6 in the top 40 and 11 in the UK Dance chart. It also became certified silver in the United Kingdom selling over 200,000 units.
