Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
OREO STATE FAIR CHOCOLATE CRUNCH COOKIE
It never ceases to amaze me how many flavours of Oreo that are available. Just when you think you have heard of them all, you stumble across another flavour that ends up being something you end up wanting to talk about.
I am not sure when Oreo State Fair Chocolate Crunch Cookies became first available but I assume around 2018 as that is the dates that many reviews are posted. They could be purchased for around $3.98 at grocery stores such as Walmart.
Each box came with nine cookies which had crunchy chocolate coating on the outside with Oreo in the middle. The idea was to get the fried feeling of being at the State Fair. You would microwave them to get the impact of the crunchiness.
These have so many positive reviews with people highly praising the texture and the flavour. Whilst they taste nice cold, most reviewers agree they are better if you heat them up.
