Today’s Featured Artist – INTERVIEW – Dead Tooth

Tell Us about:

Your latest single you have released:

Kind of a dark disco tale of a beleaguered musician turning to a life of crime as he reaches the end of his rope

Your favourite lyric in this song:

It’s all abuse and it ain’t no use to find an honest honest way to die

Your favourite song that you have created that is an album track:

Probably “Surfs Up” it’s a real ride. You’ll find out soon enough

Your favourite song to play live:

“Jack Dawson” I like to take the character to the end of the world. I like to be screaming from that door floating around the freezing Atlantic while in a rock club in Western Germany

The song that was the longest to write and why?

Maybe “Bad for You” the lyrics were just phantoms for so long. They kept coming up and biting me and then running and hiding

Your most emotional track:

That’s a tough one. None of these songs are overly emotional really. Idk if apathy is an emotion but anger sure is.

Dream collaboration:

Sharon Van Ettan, RX Knephew

Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:

Like it’s my birthday

The hardest track to play live:

Birthday Boohoo

Essential items you always take on tour with you?

Lots of supplements. I hate getting sick on the road

Describe your fans in three words:

Bad Mother F*******

A song by another artist or band you wish you had written:

Cross Country by Snakeskin

What we can look forward to from your band this year:

This album is coming out. Lots of touring to follow
