Beautiful Soul – Jesse McCartney

Today we are heading back to the early noughties to take a look at a single that was released by an American solo star. Jesse McCartney gained fame through the television show in the 1990’s All My Children as Jr Chandler.

On the 14th September 2004, Jesse McCartney released the single Beautiful Soul. It was written by Adam Watts and Andy Dodd and released under the record labels of Hollywood and Angel. It was his debut single and from the album with the same name that as also released in 2004.

The single did reasonably well in the charts and went into the top 10 in Australia (1), Austria (8) Belgium (8), Canada (5) New Zealand (2) and Us Pop Airplay (4). In the United Kingdom it went into the charts at number 16 and gained silver certification selling over 200,000 copies.
