There is something about Aaron Wood that as soon as he approaches the stage a bubbly persona follows. Debut shows are really tough but this comic seems to have cracked it and has created a really enjoyable and classy show. I say that also with a double meaning – class, this is what the show is all about, coming from a Working class background and living in a rough area.
Some shows about class can be hard to watch as they can be a tad preachy, this isn’t one of those shows, it is a show that is funny and has a lot of hilarious stories. Everything from disappointing burglaries, fussy hamsters, making friends as an adult and the reality of therapists.
Aaron is a really likeable comedian, it is obvious from this debut that he has a huge career ahead of him in comedy. He has a great connection with the audience and his jokes whilst are very funny they also have elements of sentimental and emotion beneath them as well.
A show that you should go and see whilst the Fringe is still on as it will give you a lot of laughs in the afternoon.
